If you live in New York State, whomever your state senator is, you need to vote for the person who runs against the incumbent at the next election. The only way these morons will learn that their irresponsible partisanship and poor judgment is unacceptable is if they lose their seats as a result of their behavior.

Subject: Investment advice even I understand!

• If you had purchased $1,000 of Delta Air Lines stock one year ago, you would have $49 left.

• With Enron, you would have $16.50 left.

• With World Com, you would have less than $5 left.

• But if you had purchased $1,000 worth of beer one year ago, drank all of the beer, then turned in the cans for the aluminum recycling, the REFUND would have been $214.

Based on the above, the best current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

So, while driving to work this morning, I saw this jackass, driving his Audi station wagon while playing his trumpet in the Holland Tunnel, and later on the Pulaski Syway.

No wonder there are “accidents.”
